A new ancillary power source from leading off road accessory and four wheel drive equipment manufacturer Bushranger, is set to make life easier for motorists, off roaders and campers.
The PowerTank is the ideal companion for off roaders spending long periods of time in wilderness country, offering a separate power source for camping and to ensure vehicles can be started if the battery is accidentally run flat.

The Bushranger PowerTank is a heavy duty 400 pulse cranking amp 12Volt portable power source that can be recharged from either a normal 240volt AC power point, a vehicle’s 12 volt cigarette lighter outlet or solar panel.

The PowerTank weighs in at 16kg in a compact 27 cm x 23cm x 37 cm, easy to carry and hard wearing outer casing and boasts a choice of either low or high amp terminals as well as integrated 4G Heavy Duty jump leads.
It comes equipped with an AC to DC high current charger as well as a heavy duty 12 volt in car charger and has a maximum charge current of four amps.
PowerTank can be used as a power source or jump starter with an automatic sensor that adjusts to cope with batteries with volts ranging from 3 - 22 and features a manual over-ride for batteries with less than 3V charge.
It also features fool proof jump start, multiple 12Volt power outlets, inbuilt reverse polarity, high voltage, anti-spike, overload and short circuit protection.
A low battery warning and automatic shutoff as well as over-charge and thermal overload protection, along with charge priority ensures PowerTank is safe across all conditions.
